Welcome to Knight & Brown Associates for Psychiatric & Psychological Services! Founded in July of 2007, we are a group practice offering quality psychological and psychiatric services for children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing a wide range of psychological issues and psychiatric disorders. In a comfortable and supportive environment, we offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client’s unique needs and concerns. These needs and concerns may include reducing undesirable symptoms, transforming ineffective thoughts, changing problematic behaviors, working through past issues and traumas, and resolving current life challenges. We also provide consultation, supervision, and psychotherapy training for other therapists and mental health practitioners.

We believe that the primary source for change, whether providing evaluations, psychotherapy, or medication management, is the therapeutic relationship between the client and the practitioner. This relationship is based on connection, trust, empathy, genuineness, and respect. We support the view that clients are the experts of their own experience and are best understood in the context of their own unique lives. We recognize there are dark aspects and extremes of emotional pain; nevertheless, we are optimistic and hopeful for the capacity for growth and change. We also acknowledge there are multiple perspectives of reality and many viable world-views and lifestyles that result in satisfying and fulfilling lives, and we support our clients in discovering meaningful and purposeful lives.
